How can I learn computer programming languages on my own?
I woud love the idea to develop games. How can I teach myself computer programming? What programs or software must I use? I have the new iMac?
I am programmer with 9 years experience. I can teach you programming in: C# .NET, C++, SQL, Oracle(PL/SQL) and others XML, etc… We can learn programming via internet (remote desktop or team viewer) I will explain how we do it. And we will speaking via Skype.
But… I will teach programming If you teach me English ?. I am looking someone to practice English.
My conditions are:
1. I want to practice language for longer time (only person seriously interesting to become programmer).
2. My 1 hours lesson programming for your 2 hours English.
I know English to explain you issue of programming but for first time I need your help and patience. If you will committed and good teacher with English I will gratitude for you.

I believe it is compatible with both Windows and Mac
I was able to teach my self C# by using a book that I got. My best advice would be to go into a Barnes and Noble and take a walk over to the "How-To" section. There are countless books available for you to use to teach yourself. Just research the language that you would be most interested in learning and pick up a book. Most books will give you step by step instruction on how to bend the computer to your will.
There are many softwares on internet to learn languages. But no one can learn core programming without taking the help of a teacher. So there should be a teacher who will tell you the deep knowledge about the language in which you want to make application.
