How do I get rid of an OS on my old Computer?
I have to clear everything off a computer, including the OS. How do I go about wiping the HD, and starting over from scratch?
I mean, all the way down to the core, where just the MOBO is running the show.
If your starting from strach.. you can just stick in a new OS, and boot up from disk and delete it from there. Or you can do that regardless and Delete it.

Well, if you want to completely erase every speck from your hard drive then here’s what i recommend. Bring up MS-DOSS on your computer. Then here’s a link to some commands. Be sure to print up the ones you need so that you can actually do so. Formatting is the process of completely wiping your hard drive.

Also, don’t worry, as long as you have a new OS disc, then you can still use it after the format.
