how do you go about recovering data from a harddrive that you formatted the OS partition but not the others?
my dad formatted the harddrive from the os installation menu. i asked a prequel question earlier if the os format only formatted the os partition. i have two other partitions on the harddrive that i want to recover. how do i go about doing this?
if your drive had 2 partition, then your dad formatted the 1 partition..i think the partition 2 is not affected.try to slave your hard drive to another pc.then check if you can open your file.
