How do you install linux on windows platform?

I would like to know how to install Linux onto a windows sp2 xp but it’s a factory computer. I want to know how to install it with the drivers still intact and my windows still functioning and usable.

it’s called dual-booting. No need for partitioning software, most Linux distros come with their own partitioner.

Watch this video. it’s kinda childish, but it shows the process:

find partition software (Paragon or similar) partition off about 15-20gb and then install the linux distro on the extra space.

Yes, you can install, if you have sufficient space(extended) on your hdd……
Just insert the bootable cd of LINUX into cdrom and start the system………
