I'm wondering if there's any good open source journaling software out there?

Ideally I’d like this journal to be able to handle my past journal entries from several sources (online as well as hand written typed into the computer) be able to add pictures, and keep everything organized. Any good suggestions for some good open source software that might fit these requirements? Thanks!

    wordpress or blogger

You can create an account for free, access from anywhere. If you want to give others access, you can. If you want to keep it private, just lock it down and no one else will be able to read it. WordPress is open source, and you can go to wordpress.org, download the software, and then install it on a server somewhere, but it’s easier to set up a blog on their server.

The place to search is Source Forge. You might be able to use a personal wiki for this purpose if you can’t find a dedicated program for the task. Something like wikidpad or tiddlywiki might work.
