Is it safe to move microsoft office from the c drive to the d drive?

I need to clear space on my c drive. I’ve been moving files from the c drive to the d drive. The big files I want to move but everytime I try to move it it says programs may not work. Can someone tell me if its alright to move all the microsoft office programs(Word,Powerpoint) over to the d drive and Any tips on clearing space
Can I move the whole microsoft program without uninstalling it or is that dangerous because I’d rather not uninstall it.
Not only can I move microsoft office but I want to move things such as Norton Internet Security and other big files like that. Everytime I try to move them it says that It may prevent the program from working

Yes, you can move the office installation to D: drive

First have to completely uninstall from existing C drive

Delete all temp files in c:\ temp, c:\documentsand settings\local settings\temp

reboot the pc (since its a windows pc )

install on D drive your office program, make sure you point to D:\ drive while installing as the default goes to c:\program files
