Is there a free/open source web-based calendering/scheduling program that my organization could use to see who

Is there a free/open source web-based calendering/scheduling program that my organization could use to easily see who is where (appointments, meetings, etc.) We cannot use Outlook for reasons I don’t even know…so something web-based would be perfect. I would so appreciate your help in locating a free service.

Have you tried sunbird, it is free, open source and extensible, so
it should work on a lan, I have no idea how, or if it would work on the net, but it may be worth a try.
