I need to rebuild my computer. The hard drive has vista home basic all ready install on it. I’ve lost the OS disk .I plan to buy a new motherboard & CPU.Has anyone ever replaced the CPU with out reinstalling the OS?

I am planning to change career & would like to learn Linux & maybe Windows administration. What are my chances to get a job at my age? And what material should I start learning ? Linux or Windows? Thanks for your feebacks.

When I’m on facebook or something, looking at pictures, it pops up EVERY 2 seconds. It says Internet Explorer Script Error and asks if I want to continue running scripts. I just keep clicking yes & it’s fine but it’s really annoying!!

I have empire earth 1 & 2. The script format in empire earth 2 is dll or ddf.I don’t have the codes for writing a script for empire earth 2. can anyone tell me where I can download some kind of a manual or a guide?

I am a High School Junior, will be a senior is 1 day, and I am wondering which programming languages I should get acquainted with before entering college. I am planning on going into computer science & informatics and going into the security side of things. I have been told that I don’t really need to learn any but I’d still like to be ahead a little going in. I have already taken a class on VB and am currently working on some MySQL & C++. What else should I look into?

I have Microsoft Office 2003 Student & Teacher Edition which can be used on 3 different PC’s. I currently have it installed on 2 and want to install it on my brand new PC. But I cant find the sheet that has the serial code on it. Is there any way for me to find that code on the PC that I already have it installed on?

Getting a script message when that asks if I want to stop a script running as it "slows down IE & may make it stop." Am running IE8 on Windows XP. Assuming that this script is the culprit then it is doing what is described and frequently my wireless modem is shut down or needs to be restarted as well. Microsoft supposedly addresses this problem but they have me chasing rabbits looking for the info. Any ideas?

I am learning C with David Mark’s book "Learning C on Mac" and I still have certain questions. Should I buy K&R C Programming language for further explanations, and are there any live chats or people that will be willing to help me when I have questions?
