Is there a way to transfer my c drive to my external in ubuntu?
I really managed to screw up my windows somehow when messing with partitions. I have some very valuable information in my c drive that I still need, however I cannot boot up windows. Ubuntu boots up just fine of the internal hard drive. Basically how can I copy the files from my c drive in windows to my external so after I reformat I can sift through the files and get what I need out?
How come Linux runs faster on my PC then Windows XP?
My friend told me that its more stable then Microsoft product, so I thought I would give it a try. Since I started using Linux, my computer doesn’t crash, freeze, or even slow down. It boots up 5 times faster, and shuts down faster. I would think Windows would be more stable since you pay for it and its made by Microsoft, which is one of the richest company’s in the world?
How do I boot from an OS if I have all the files on Drive C but it the it's not in the list of bootable OS's?
I recently upgraded Windows ME to XP, l but told it not to adjust the Windows ME. Now, even though all the files from Windows ME are intact, the computer automatically boots to XP because ME is no longer on the list of available OS’s. Is there any way to boot to my Windows ME?
