I am Mainframe application programmer , i would like to learn a foreign language please suggest.?
HI All,
I am mainframe application programmer with four years of experience in Banking domain. I think this is the right time to add some more skills to improve my professional career path , so i have decided to learn a foreign language. After some small research i have decided to choose one among the below list of languages,
Spanish,
French,
German..
Please suggest which one to choose among the three according to my current skills.
How do i write this code in visual basic?
I need a code that will randomly choose one team to play another team each week. Like maybe team 5 will play team 20 and team 19 will play 14 and so on. I have that part but now i dont know how to make it so each week when a team plays a different team it never randomly will put 19 with 14 and 5 with 20 and so on so no two teams ever play each other more than once. Please help!!!!!!! Thanks!
What are the differences between UNIX and Linux, and what about all those choices within Linux?
What are the operational differences between Linux and UNIX? Why would a programmer choose one over the other? What about software selection and ease of programming (with already basic knowledge of programming, and wanting to dive in to open source)?
In terms of Linux, what makes things like Red Hat cost money and things like Ubuntu not? Is pay-for OS based on Linux better quality than freely distributed OS? What is the best choice for Linux-or-Unix OS for a budding programmer?
