My old drive (C drive) on which the OS is installed is low on disk space and I’ve tried everything I can to remove unnecessary files and programs (including changing where Documents and Settings are stored). I’d like to avoid reinstalling XP. Is it possible to copy the C drive onto a partition on the new drive and then have the machine boot from this instead?

It says I need to install it in an MS-DOS command window, which is the command prompt, but I don’t know how to get rid of this:

So how do I get rid of it and how do I install it, because the instructions confuse me.
I need to know how to get it to just C:\ to install it
