I am curious if someone has used GNU licensed software or software development tools to make money?
Can a company retract GNU software to private?
Can a company retract GNU software to private or at least sell a copy of the software without the GNU licence?

I have been using Ubuntu GNU/Linux as my only system for years, and I wonder why some people stick to Microsoft or Mac, even though they say GNU/Linux and free software is cool.
What would make you switch? (or what made you switch)
