How hard is it to learn java programming?
I am currently going to school online with the university of phoenix to get my degree in information technology. I have not chosen my focus yet. I wanted to choose a focus in programming but some of the smartest people I know said they couldn’t even understand it. How hard is it? My choices right now are web design, programming, and networking.
How can i improve my programming skills most specially on Java?

Why are there so many different kinds like there is Visual C++, Turbo C, C++, Borland C++, etc.
