I wanna major in video game programmer or computer programmer once I finish high school. I’m a Junior now 3/4 the way done and I wanna get a head start on programming. So I just wanna know what everyone thinks about what language is better? I know of C++, Java Script, and Xhtml. What would be the best though to learn for the future

I’ve created a table with a col of checkboxes, this column has a header checkbox. Now when I click on the header checkbox, I want all its children to also be ticked or unticked depending the number of clicks. I think I have to use Java Script for this, but I am not sure. I am completely lost on how to start. If anyone can help, thank you.

i know that PHP, JSP or ASP.net are examples of server side programming languages and Java script and VBscript are examples of client side programming languages. but what is the exact difference between client side programming and serverside ?
please elaborate and explain your answers.
also i ‘ll be happy if you give me some sources to study about PHP and JSP online or some free download materials.

I want to build up a website. I have a large database. Its impossible to make thousands of Html pages. Can Java script make them automatically from my database?

I want a java script through which a box prompts to enter user name and password if the userrname and password is correct then it views the body part of that same html web page. I don’t want the java script which redirect to other web page?

I was trying to watch videos on You Tube but they wouldn’t show up. It says that I either have Java Script turned off or I need the latest version of Adobe Flash. I clicked on the linked and installed the newest version but it still doesn’t work. I don’t know whats wrong.
