What programming language should I learn as a beginner?
I would like to start programming, because I am an aspiring video game creator and would like to stop using video game creators to make my own. I use the Snow Leopard system on a Mac OS X. I tried python, but it didn’t work. Please help me out, I would really like some help on this.

What is the newest os x that can run on a imac g5?
I own a imac g5 and was thinking about upgrading the os, but i know sometimes if you upgrade something to much it wont work as good. so what is the newest version of mac os x that will run on a imac g5 that will not decrease the proformance of the imac g5.

In mac os x when you plug in a drive an icon shows up on the desktop

How do i Install OS X Leopard on a password protected macbook?
The macbook is password protected. When i try to boot from the cd the laptop doesn’t allow it. When i boot to the system and I click on the Mac OS X cd icon , I choose the install option, click restart and it asks me for a password? How do I go about erasing everything on the disk and insatlling the Leopard OS?
Can you install Open Source programs of Windows XP? If yes, How?
I want to install ktoon because it seems fun to use but it only comes in open source. So i was wondering if there was anyway to install these open soucre files in windows XP. I know that in Mac OS X there is a program called Darwinports so i was wondering if there is anything like that for XP.

Making my computer to talk to me during start-up and shut-down Mac OS X Snow Leopard?
So i’ve seen people set preferences on their computers that can tell them good morning, good afternoon, and good night according by the internal clock. Personally, i think it’s pretty cool, so i want to do this as well. I cannot however find the options to do this anywhere! I am using a MacBook Pro, running Mac OS X Snow Leopard version 10.6.4 Any help?
