My site covers a very niche area, and people there have a lot of in-depth knowledge about some very obscure things. I think this would be a great way to further community. Forums haven’t worked well for me in the past, so I would love to try something like this. Also, open-source is ideal, and PHP driven is important. Thanks.
I appreciate the mentioning of phpbb. However, I’m not looking for a forum type of software, unless phpbb can be configured to work like Yahoo Answers. if that is the case, can anyone point me to the plugin that will help with that?
