I know PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML. I probably need to learn Javascript, and a little bit of Ajax just probably for forms or something.

What is the ideal environment to work in?

Just for you specifically I guess.

On a Windows PC, Linux PC, or Mac (I have heard they have nice programs over there, CSStabs I heard of)

What programs do you use? Dreamweaver? PHP Professional? And please I don’t want to hear any 1337 programs saying they just use regular notepad. I have heard some people code on Firefox using it’s extensions

Do you have Apace with others set up, or do you just have an all in one server like Xampp set up?

And finally, when you code, I’m assuming you don’t do it with just your mind, do you have any references (books, printed pages, websites) you use while you code it?

I am an aspiring coder, and I don’t wish to pay money to learn this. I’m getting there. I just want to know some of you guys setups.

Do ALL computers understand EVERY type of programming language? Do you have to use the IDE of a specific program to use it, or can you make programs in that language using things like notepad?

can be done through a text editor like notepad plus plus, is a good starter programming language, and has a good amount of documentation ,and or a community to help me with problems and discus about the language, and is good for all around programming, im not really looking for a web based language.

Ok, im 12 years old and looking towards being a programmer.I’m really good with computers and type ok for my age(around 55wpm)but just can’t get programming down.I am an absolute begginer and am trying to learn C++. Is this the right program 4 me?Should I use something else?Do you need any other programs to do C++ or any other programming because i heard you need to download some other stuff for it.Is programming just writing things in notepad and converting them into exe files and images, or is there more to it?I was thinking of buying C++ for dummies(the book),but when i saw a preview it was just waay too confusing.I started some tutorials which lost me at the first sentence,plus i had one which told be type in some stuff in so i did in notepad and nothing happened.Somebody please help me i really want to pursue my dream and i want to start working on it now. Btw, if you have any information on programming tell me and don’t give me websites, and if you do then explain them to me GOOD
