do u think enabling nvida drivers in xubuntu is a risk since xubuntu (linux) is a open source .I have already enabled it so ,any risk involved while updating xubuntu .

open source > allows programmers to make changes in operating system code.
A) server running the Linux operating system
B) handheld computer/smartphone/PDA running Palm OS
C) personal computer running the windows operating system

I’m asking this because I eventually want to learn c++ but on a open source ide. The reason I don’t want to use visual studio is because I have to put extra stuff. Also how do I get an open source ide working on a 64 bit windows 7 laptop. Email me for more details.

IC Editors, Inc had a program called ICED that they released open-source and free. It is a IC (integrated circuits layout software) It is very powerful and I really want to get me hands on a copy of it. Would someone please tell me where to find it online because I searched but couldnot find it.

Just curious. What are the key features that MS Office has over other free word processors that make people pay hundreds of dollars for it? I am by no way saying that Open Source is better than proprietary software, in fact, most proprietary normally has more user-friendly options and sometimes more features, but I think people should consider it.
Open Office and Libre Office is compatible with MS Office files too.

If I want to buy ads on other sites, are there any open-source or free solutions for me to be able to track clicks, leads, sales and generate reports. Ideally, I’ll be able to manage creatives, affiliates and handle reporting all from this interface.

I want to create a custom linux iso with a few of my personally developed applications and distribute it online. I know Linux is open source, but does this mean I can legally sell the ISO? Are some distros better suited for this than others?
