How do I install linux with an apple wireless keyboard & mouse?
I recently downloaded and created an ubuntu 10.10 disc and I want to install it on a partition on my intel mac, but I can’t seem to get linux to recognize the apple wireless keyboard and mouse I am using. Is it possible to get linux to recognize them before installation? Or do I have to install using other peripherals and then pair the apple stuff?

How to uninstall GNU GRUB from Windows 7?
I recently deleted the partition on my computer containing Ubantu 10.10, while it was on the same harddrive as my Windows 7 Ultimate. Now whenever I try to load it up, it simply goes to the grub resuce prompt, and i can’t do anything. Help please?
Help installing a boot manager or getting onto another partition?
I have my hard drive partitioned into two partitions. One has XP installed and the other has GNU Linux (Debian) installed. I used to be able to choose which operating system to load when i turned the computer on using GRUB boot manager which came packaged with Debian. The problem is that I had to reformat the XP partition and so now I can no longer choose a partition to load but it automatically goes into windows. How can I get back onto Linux when i want to.
Thanks.
How do I install new OS on netbook without an optical drive?
I have the OS as an iso file. I’m assuming that I would partition the hard drive of the netbook, and then mount the image using a program like Alcohol 120%. Then install the OS onto the blank partition. Finally boot the new partition and delete the previous partition. If I’m wrong please let me know. Thank you.

How do you install a second OS on the same hard drive?
There is an old computer which I want to install WinXP on it, while retaining its Win98. I want the two OS to be completely separate from each other and each runs its own installed applications, and has absolutely nothing to do with each other.
The hard drive now is partitioned into C and D, C being the Win98 OS and installed programs, while D is personal data. Should I install XP in C or D partition? Or should I create a new partition within C or D (let’s call it E), this way if either OS screws up, I can restore only that partition using TrueImage or something similar?
Also how much space do I need to install XP?
When making a drive partition for a different OS, is it possible to change its size later?
I’m testing a different OS, and I don’t know yet if I want to make it my main one or not. If I only give it, say, 20 gigs now, but decide I want to make it my main one and give it 700 or something later, can I do it?
Basically I don’t want to give it a partition that I will regret later.
