Does anyone know of any good tutorials for C programing language?

Hi Well i work in IT support. I am wanting to learn how to program in C. I would like some advise and pointing in the direction of some good tutorials and guides on how to self team myself programing.

How to contact a software designer or programmer?

for school i’m doing a class that is supposed to prepare me for college and work in my preferred job. anyway one of the assignments is to interview someone who is in the line of work that i’m interested in so i need to interview either a designer or programmer. Please help!

I am new at programing as a whole and I want to lear C as fast as possible so I can begin Programing. Does anyone know any good book that can explain it step by step so someone who is 14 years old can understand it.

Why do new and fast computers start OS as slow as old ones?

I don’t understand why we keep building new and faster computers yet it still takes about the same time from initial boot to OS is up and running at full speed. there must be a way to optimize the programing algorithms, simplify it, or something? Or is there a hardware factor that sets a physical limit ?

What kind of training do I need to use open source programing code?

Hey I want to know what kind of training will I need to use open source code from programs like Mame or Final Burn, emulators. If the rumor of the PS3 Hard Drive coming with Linux, I want to make a emulator in which people can play 4-6 player arcade games (with legal roms of course) on a TV through a PS3. I’m currently trying to get back in school to get a degree in Infomation Systems with a consentration in software, cause I want to become a game developer, but I want to start with using open source to see if I have the goods to make a good interface.
