Since HTMl is a relitively easy language i wanna learn it, but im also wondering if learning it will make game programming easier and how since that is my career path.

And also what would be the best game programming language to learn after HTML out of java,javascript,C#,C++

So for all those who have learned a programming language whether its real high end stuff like C++ or lesser complicated ones, how long did you take to learn it approx every day you were learnin? how many hours a day learning a language do you think is best approx? I just trying to get an idea how much time one should take when learning a subject daily so not to overboggle your mind and to not take too long overall.

I’d like to learn something like Python, or Java. Something for beginners. Anyone know where I could find a course for a programming language like this?

Hello Guys, Its 2011 and we all know that cloud based and web based things will soon be the future so i wanted to ask what programming Language would be the best to learn as of 2011 and going into the future? Ive heard great things about Java and Objective-C but i need your opinions and answers. Please no silly answers. Thanks!

Im a student in computer repair and also Cisco Networking Academy
I want to learn a common programming language. Should i learn to Java or something like that? I want something simple. What program do i need to write in this language?

I am planning on creating a program that goes online and does stuff automatically like say, it goes to a site like www.kingsofchaos.com (a text based mmorpg) and it automatically logs me in, and buys weapons and stuff automatically.

What programming language do i need to know to create such a thing?

I’ve poked around a bit, but haven’t found much that’s terribly clear on the subject. On Apple’s website they talk a lot about "Xcode," but it seems more like that’s that actual programming suite.
An easier way to go about this question is probably this – If I wanted to develop iOS apps, what programming language would I need to buy a book on?

Here is the question :

A standalone running .swf file (running as an .exe off a cd-rom) loads up a load of pictures on the cd-rom. Now there is an option to save certain images to ‘project’.

Now what language could you easily program something in where you can save the requested files from the flash application which is linked to directories on (CD-ROM) to the users Hard Drive. So what programming language could handle this ?
