I need a open source P2P application where I can manipulate the source code, any guesses?

Which of the following criteria must software meet in order to display the Open Source Initiative trademark?

>>It must be easily altered and adapted to all major operating systems and source code must be limited. It must be compatible with third party add-ons and use standard source code.
>>It must be provided in multiple languages and cost must be minimal.
>>It must be freely distributed without restriction and the source code must >>be available.

I want to hide the source code, the same way Yahoo! Mail is able to hide its source code.

I’ve seen some other attempts on hiding source codes, but they’re not foolproof. Some only hide the source codes from right-clicking, but not from viewing source code from the menu bar (View > Source).
HTML encryption is not enough. It’s very easy to unescape these characters. Thanks anyway. Anything else?

I’m really interested in learning how to write drivers and I’d really like to look through the source code of some open source drivers if anyone knows of any.

How do the developers get paid if nobody buys the software, just get it free, and that too with source code? I can understand it about amateur software developers. But I recently heard that Sun is coming out with Open Source Unix this year. How will they profit from this? If not, how will they survive?

If a healthcare organization was to implement a open source ehr or emr, and if an unauthorized person had the source code from the original vendor, couldn’t the system be breached? I understand that the emr/ehr vendor has probably been through hipaa regulation, but with an open source model, isn’t the system very susceptible?

I created a commercial web site, and the software I developed to run the site uses GPL’d libraries. As I understand the GPL, it’s okay to make profit of such a site without opening the source code I wrote, but what if I want to sell the entire business to someone else? Does it constitute a software distribution, and therefore requires me to open up the source to the general public?
