My son wants to learn computer programming. Any online suggestions for where to start?
He is ten years old and picks things up very quickly, so something for adults that doesn’t start off too complex may be appropriate. But if anyone knows of any sites that make learning programming fun for kids, that would be ideal (if such a thing exists). He ultimately wants to learn programming for games software. His favourite games are strategy, adventure and science-based games. Thanks for your help- I know next to nothing.
Is there a free or open source system available for online ticket ordering?
I manage a website for a non-profit sports facility. We are holding a fundraiser and we would like to offer online ticket ordering via PayPal. Is there a free or open source software I can integrate into our website?
I have lots of technical knowledge and I know how to put various web technologies into use, but I cannot find a suitable program!
Thanks for your help.
What does <<< in PHP do and where can I find documentation?
I need to know that <<< does in PHP. I’ve searched the internet and found nothing. Please don’t tell me to go to php.net as I have searched there as well. I’ve seen this command used in a couple of programs, but can’t find what it does. Based on the code, it seems like it can move strings into variables.
Thanks for your help.

What is the fastest most efficient powerful programming language?
By programming language I mean like C or Java or VB, I plan to use a programming language for advanced custom functions in Web Development. To possibly create web pages or for processing web related stuff.
Please note: I do not want to hear anything like ASP, PHP, or JSP. I already know PHP.
Thanks for your help.
How can i create a windows logon script to map “My Documents” to a specific folder per user?
I have manually configured a user’s desktop to map "My Documents" to a specific folder on the network. However, I have a couple of users that "float" on unused computers and would like a script will do this process as they log on. Thanks for your help.
