Is there an open-source alternative to windows that can run exe files smoothly?
I realize there is linux, but I would really like to have something that can run exe files just as smoothly as windows with a lot less bulk than windows. Open-source or freeware would be appreciated. Any Ideas?
How can I restore my Windows XP OS and keep the files that were left on the laptop?
I have a sony vaio and the OS on it is not working. I logged onto it the other day and none of the icons would load. Just the picture on the desktop came up. Is there any way for me to get it running again without losing the data. I need to know before I have to pay someone. Thanks.
