What is a good open-source 3D graphic editing software?
I have a basic understanding in GIMP and AutoCAD, and I’m interested in starting out trying some 3D graphic design. So my question is, what is a good free open source 3D 3D graphic editing software that can do renders?
Blender all the way. It’s free open source 3D software that allows you to try your hand at 3D. There’s plenty of tutorials, documentation, and galleries that show you what the software is capable of.
I also like to mess around with Google SketchUp a little as well. It’s a very easy to use software that’s free from Google. There’s a lot of perks to SketchUp such as being able to render buildings for Google Earth and objects for the Google 3D Warehouse. Best of luck and enjoy!
