What is the HTML code to made a description in my website for Google to pick up?
I made a website Google found. But the description is the same at the website title? I believe there is a code to add to my website that Google reads to use as my Website’s Description. Thank you.
Its a tag that you place in the HEAD section but for the life of me i can’t think of it lol, stolen off the yahoo homepage

Look up "robot.txt" I think that is what you want. It is know as a "crawler" so google can search your page, jsut allow it to only search a small portion that you want as your description.
there is a meta name tag in the Head section (top of the document) that lets you put in keywords for search engines. IF I remember right there is something that google and other search engines have called a "crawler" or some kind of robot whose job is to search internet webpages and add them to their index. I heard this can take a long time but it is done free if you don’t want to spend the money via a webhosting site to be included in those search engine results.
